DO YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO TOUR THE VENUE?

Yes. To book a tour, please fill out the contact form on our home page. 

WHAT ALL IS INCLUDED IN THE STARTING SITE FEE?

We have a selection of features that clients can choose from.

  • Tables (Cocktail, Round, & Rectangular)

    • For the package you choose and the expected number of guests, there could be possible limitations to which style of table will work best in the space with the given circumstances.

  • Antique Furniture & Couches for Sitting Areas

  • Elegant White Chairs

WHAT KIND OF SETTINGS ARE AVAILABLE?

Our clients have the option to use either indoor, outdoor, and/or both facilities, of course, depending on the time of year!

WHAT EVENT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We have many amenities to offer our clients that are included in the venue rental.

IS YOUR VENUE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED?

Yes. We do have two mounted mini-split units to heat/cool the banquet room as well as a full HVAC unit for the upstairs apartment.

WHAT IS THE DECORATING POLICY?

We ask that no open flame is used on the guest tables. (sternos are allowed for the buffet tables) Fake flower petals, confetti, and glitter are a big "no-no" as it takes forever to clean up and get rid of, and then no additional alterations to our permanent fixtures or furniture. We do allow a low-tack tape or command strips to be used on the walls to hang decorations!

IS YOUR VENUE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Being that The Carriage House is an older establishment, there are steps into the building. However, we are able to get a wheelchair/scooter through our barn doors with a small step up. The bathroom does have a step into it as well, but we have a ramp that can accommodate a wheelchair/scooter.

DO YOU HAVE AN EXCLUSIVITY POLICY WHEN IT COMES TO VENDORS?

No, we do not have a list of vendors that you have to use but we can give you recommendations for different vendors that we have had at The Carriage House!

WHERE IS THE PARKING LOCATED?

We have a grass/stone parking lot that is located adjacent to The Carriage House on the Northwest side. The entrance to the lot is across from the marina.

WHAT KIND OF DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK AN EVENT?

We require a 50% deposit to secure the date for your event. We accept cash, check and credit cards, however, there is a 5% credit card processing fee. We also require that a credit card be kept on file regardless of the form of payment.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Lessee(s) may cancel this Agreement at any time up to 90 days prior to the Event Date by providing written notice of such election to Lessor, at no cost to Lessee(s). If Lessee(s) shall elect to so cancel this agreement between 89 and 46 days prior to the Event Date, Lessee(s) will be charged 50% of the Rental Fee and any expenses incurred in good faith by Lessor in preparation for Lessee's use of the Facility. For cancellations 45 days prior to Event Date, Lessee(s) will be charged 100% of the Rental Fee and any expenses incurred by Lessor. Any payment that has not been received before the elected cancellation, depending on the timeframe of which cancellation is elected, will be charged to the Credit Card on file. 

DO YOU ALLOW EVENTS TO BE RESCHEDULED?

Yes, we do allow events to be rescheduled however, once an event is rescheduled, you will not receive any type of refund if you decide to cancel the event at any point after it is rescheduled.
